Super Junior Shindong aplogizes for His comment about fat Girls on his Radio Show

Another controversy came from the chubby member of super Junior. Recently on his radio show Shim Shim Tapa, Shindong made a comment that offended fat girls. On the 29 January, a female listener revealed to him on his radio show that she just fought with his boyfriend because her decision to go on diet. He then told her, "Don’t start if you’re only going to quit after a few days. Your body isn’t the type to change with a diet.”

Kim Shin Young, who co-hosts the radio station, stated, “To a girl, a negative comment about her weight is equivalent to asking for a punch.”

Then Shindong commented, “If someone had to lose weight, I would tell that person to lose weight. Lose some weight, why can’t you take care of yourself. When I say this, the person might think, ‘Look who’s talking,’ but I would reply, ‘I’m a boy and you’re a girl.‘”

To this, both Kim Shin Young and announcer Gu Eun Young retorted, “Why does gender matter in this situation? So girls have to be skinny and boys can be…” Taken aback by their remarks, Shindong quickly explained, “I’m just saying. Honestly, I would want the person that I love to be more pretty or more handsome."

This issue brings up a previous episode of MBC ’Quiz to Change the World,’ wherein fellow Super Junior members also expressed their dislike toward fat women. Yesung stated, “I think obese people are lazy” while Leeteuk confessed, “I really dislike fat girls. I don’t think they take care of their bodies well.” (Uuuppsss!)

Really, I am a big fan of Super Junior and I am a little surprised about their comment about large women. Please boys, open up your mind, dont just think about the skinny girls. who said that large women is lazy and can't manage herself?? think about your ELF and some of them are large but they love you unconditionally. Yeah boys will be boys...(shake head)

Shindong explains on Twitter

After the news went out, ShinDong posted apology messages and explain his case on his Twitter on 30th Jan.

He wrote:

“I don’t mean that…It was what I said to my girlfriend…. I just wanted to say that if I have a girlfriend I would want her to be prettier… I don’t mean that girls have to lose weight… I’m sorry that everyone heard it that way.. But please understand that I don’t mean it that wayㅜㅜ”

SNSD Disappeared for 5 Second on MBC Music Core

SNSD finally comeback through MBC Music Core on January 30 and for their first performance, the girls showed off their sexy move in their little cute cheerleaders outfit. The girls not only perform 'Oh' but also single 'Show Show Show'.

But there was an accident near the end of the performance, the audience at home suddenly lost SNSD for aroun 5 second. The audience was shocked as well as the TV itself.

TV viewers commented, “So Nyeo Shi Dae was on and then suddently the screen went blank, and I had a shock. Even the TV is in shock with the girls’ comeback”, “They even get a broadcast accident… prelude to a big hit?”etc.

SHINee for Oh Joonsung Drama Concert in Singapore

SHINee arrived in Singapore yesterday evening. The boys came to Singapore to participate in “Oh Joonsung Drama Concert”.

You might unfamiliar with the name, so here’s a quick info about him and the concert itself :

The Korean wave sweeps to Esplanade in February for two special evenings of songs and instrumental pieces from soundtracks of some of the most popular Korean drama series written by composer, arranger and lyricist, Oh Joonsung.

Considered one of Korea’s most sought-after composer/lyricist, Oh Joonsung, will direct his 9-piece band, Green Cacao and a 23-piece orchestra specially put together for the concert. Some of these songs will be accompanied by music videos from the dramas. Joining them will be Korean popstars Bobby Kim, Mario& and Shinee who will perform their signature tunes from the dramas, Dream, My Girl and Boys Over Flowers respectively.

Super Junior Eeteuk, Heechul and Shindong for Special MC on SBS Special Inkigayo Vancouver Olympic

On 31^st January, SBS Inkigayo will be aired special 80 minutes with special MC from Super Junior, Eeteuk, Heechul and Shindong. SBS do the special Inkigayo to appreciate the Vancouver winter olympic . There will be special cheerleaders from girl group and some joint stages.

The PD for the show said that the special cheerleaders are T-ara JiYeon, EunJung, HyoMin, 4Minute HyunA, Rainbow JaeKyung, SeeYa SooMi. They will perform to give spirit for the Korean representatives. And the other performance will be a joint stage between Beast and 2AM perform Psy’s ‘Champion’ , Kim Jang Hoon and CN Blue perform Kim Won Joon’s ‘Show’. And don't miss the performance of SNSD with 'Oh', Kim Jongkok, TRAX, and F.cuz

The other special performance will be a video showing Teukigayo from Strong Heart introducing about the Vancouver Olympic.

Hyoyeon has half of her face cut off

When it comes to SNSD / Girls’ Generation, it’s usually maknae member Seohyun who gets the short end of the stick regarding pictures and shows.

Well this time, it’s a bit different.

Fans had noticed that SNSD member Hyoyeon has half of her face cut off in the album jacket of SNSD’s 2nd full length album Oh!
On the outside of the album jacket, the CD is held in place by small slits, but unfortunately, when the CD is inserted, it cuts off the top half of Hyoyeon’s face!
SM Entertainment has addressed this issue and admitted that it was due to a technical mistake. It will rectify the issue in the second reprint of the album jacket.

Hottest to hold a large-scale demonstration regarding Jaebum Withdrawal

Hottest is very serious about their objection toward Jaebum’s Withdrawal from 2PM. Even though JYP had stated that ‘Jaebum will comeback’ but hottest already worry and feel uneasy about the realization. The six members of 2PM already ended their promos activities but the clearance about Jaebum’s comeback had not been confirmed.

2PM fans union plan to hold a large-scale demonstration regarding Jaebum withdrawal on 31 January in Seoul JongRo. On the 2PM fancafe, it stated, “On the 31st of January, starting from 1PM, we will have a nationwide protest for Park Jaebeom’s withdrawal status. The location will be Jong-ro 2-Ga, Seoul. I know you guys are busy, but please come and support.”

f(x) Sulli will join Taecyeon and Wooyoung on SBS Inkigayo

After Han Yeon Joo leave her position as MC on SBS Inkigayo, today Inkigayo staff reveals about the new female MC for the show. And f(x) Sulli is chosen to do MC along with Taecyeon and Wooyoung starting February 7.

Hottest are still believing that Jaebum will comeback to 2PM and they continually give supports to all members. It was seen through the placard they hold on 2PM fansigning in Seoul KangNamGoo MarketO ApGooJung store, it was written ‘Waiting for Park JaeBum’, ‘2PM is 7 members’.

TRAX Releases Coldhearted Man MV

SM 'lost child' finally comeback after three years with their new mini album. And after their debute stages, SM released their MV featuring F(X) Victoria and Super Junior Heechul. Personally, I love both the song and the MV. The MV story was about a couple who breaks up and going into miserable situation. Heechul and Victoria did the great job.

Family Outing 2 First Filming is Finished

The first filming of Family Outing 2 featuring its 7 new members – Yoon Sang Hyun, Kim WonHee, Ji SangRyul, Shin BongSeon, SNSD YoonA, 2PM TaecYeon, 2AM JoKwon – on 25th January ended successfully.

According to SBS, the filming took place under weather of below zero degrees calcius in KangWonDo. During their first filming, the 7 members showed great teamwork despite the harsh weathers.

Heechul Cry at Beijing Super Show2

Finally only ten members performed at Super show 2 Beijing. As we know that Hankyung is still in the law process against SM, Kangin is still finishing his punishment from SM, and Kibum is busy doing promo for his new movie.

Around 10,000 fans attended to be the eye witnessed of the 10 members. Suju performed 35 songs. And while they were doing Shining Stars, fans captured a very sad moment of Heechul. Heechul couldn’t bear himselft to cry. Why did he cry so sadly? Was it because of Hankyung absence? Everybody knows that Chul is Hankyung’s best buddy, they are really close even people said that Chul and Han is a couple. We didn’t know surely, why he was so miserable that time. But we hope that their next album can reunite the 13 members.

SNSD / Girls’ Generation’s Yuri has revealed that she still expects to be a SNSD member in seventeen years!
During this week’s episode of MBC’s Music Core, the MCs Yuri and Tiffany teased the audience of their comeback next week with Oh!

what most people didn’t notice was the question Yuri asked to Tiffany during one of their segments. Yuri asked Tiffany, “What will you be doing in 17 years time?”

“With 17 years of time, after training hard all those years, wouldn’t I be able to become a globally loved, shiny super star like Jackson?” replied Tiffany. She then joked, “I will be an aunt to Yuri’s children.”

Key's Grandma Passed away

On Music Core, SHINee performed minus Key. On their 100 days of promoting RDD, Key could not join his fellow members because his grandmother passed away two days ago. And he is attending her funeral. This is especially devastating news for Key since he was raised by his grandma and has expressed a very close bond with her in the past, calling her his best friend.

SHINee did their last performance of promoting RDD on KBS last night. The boys made their goodbye stage with the songs RDD and Jojo. Even we can nott see the boys on the stage for a while but we will meet them on their new variety show on KBS 'Hello Baby' season 2.

The filming was already started, their mission was to take care of an adorable baby boy named Cho Kyungsan, preparing baby formulas, changing diapers, and doing other activities with the child.
